William Kurt Donaghey

William Kurt Donaghey, 51, passed away on October 3, 2022.  He was born on July 26, 1971, in Dallas, Texas.

Kurt worked as a trailer mechanic for KLLM in Lancaster, Texas, for 18 years.  In 1993, he moved to the Cedar Creek Lake area.  He attended First Baptist Church in Malakoff, Texas.  He enjoyed working on cars and recycling metals.  He also enjoyed collecting old coins and history.  Kurt liked visiting What’s Up Park in Seven Points and driving his boys and granddaughter in the go karts.  His passion, however, was his family; he loved his four children and three grandbabies more than anything.  Kurt will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Danialle Donaghey; daughters Chasidy Little and Brittney Rogers; sons William R. Donaghey and George Donaghey; brother Mark Donaghey; nieces Candace Donaghey, Cassidy Donaghey, and Cierra Donaghey; and nephew Cody Donaghey.

Kurt is preceded in death by his mother Mary Agnes Donaghey.
