Whiteford Brownlowe Smith II

Whiteford Brownlowe Smith II, 68, passed away on March 7, 2021.  He was born on July 5, 1952, in Lindale, Texas.

In life, you gave so much of yourself that you have truly left your mark not only on those who knew and loved you, but as you have always reminded us without fail, and so many beautiful buildings that you had your hand in creating over the years. And much like the steel bars in each building, your bond with your family and friends will never falter.  We are the lucky ones you poured all your love into, and through us, you will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Marsha; children Daniel Sowers and wife Haley, and Dana Sowers and husband Jason Alexander, Jason Smith, Michelle Pugh and husband John, and Jeremy Smith and wife Amanda; grandchildren Syrus, Dominic, Denisha, Tiarra, Vanessa, Jaziah, Athena, Isaiah, Caylee, Jor-el, Gavin, Hazel, Edith, Gabe, Jacob and Tessa Smith, and Ashley; great-grandchildren Aubree, Prince, and Tiana; brother Stanley Smith; sister Cindy Collins.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Bro. Ed Shauer, with the First Church of the Nazarene in Gun Barrel City, Texas, will officiate for the Smith II family.
