Wendi Michelle Philpot Hearrell

Wendi Michelle Hearrell, 42 of Gun Barrel City, Texas passed away on October 14, 2018.  She was born on August 10, 1976 in Dallas, Texas to the home of Michael Otis & Johnnie Sue Barkhimer Philpot.

Wendi graduated from Mabank High School, with the class of 1994.  After graduation she worked as a paralegal for many years.  In Wendi’s spare time she enjoyed cooking, walking her dogs, shopping, crafting and watching a good movie with her children.  She always cherished spending time with her family and friends.

Wendi is survived by her parents Michael & Johnnie Philpot of Gun Barrel City Texas; a brother Tim Ray & his wife Robin; sisters Jamie Crawford & her husband Trey, Dawna Sandidge &  her husband Mick, Sherryl Finely & her husband Chris and Stefanie Vermule; soul-sister Krista Gray; the father to her children Kenny Hearrell; her beautiful daughters Kensi Hearrell & her fiancé Shaylor Wallace, Ellie Hearrell and Maggie Hearrell; aunts & uncles Barbara & Rick Flores, Janet Roberson, Tammy Catteyson, Tracey Lawhorn, Melanie Robertson, Maryann Taylor & her husband Joe, Ed & Patricia Silva, Tom Lawhorn, Wilbur & Gaye Roberts.  She also has many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.  Wendi will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Wendi is preceded in death by her grandparents Julius & Hazel Philpot; Melba & Chester Barkhimer; and her aunt Karen Lawhorn.

Bro. Barry Boatright with the Christian Life Center in Gun Barrel City, Texas will officiate for the Hearrell family.
