Weldon Bruce Wood

Weldon Bruce Wood, 54 of Kaufman, Texas passed away on October 3, 2018.  He was born on October 23, 1963 in Dallas, Texas the home of Dennis Ray Sr. & Ina Mae Catlin Wood.

Weldon graduated from CDC School in Garland, Texas in 1984.  In his spare time he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, helping with the Special Olympics, bowling, camping and taking cruises with his family.  He cherished his family and friends.  He was a great son, brother, uncle and friend to many.  Weldon lived life with God and for God.

Weldon is survived by his mother; brothers Dennis Ray Wood & his wife Clair and Vance Wood & his wife Jan; he has many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.  Weldon will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Weldon is preceded in death by his father; brother Baby Wood; grandparents Robert & Pauline Wood and Emmitt & Lura Catlin; and other aunts & uncles.

Pastor Bryon Jones with the First Baptist Church in Gun Barrel City, Texas will officiate for the Wood family.
