Travis Ray Plant, 66, passed away on October 3, 2024, at his brother's home in Seven Points, Texas. He was born on December 1, 1957, in Kaufman, Texas to parents Travis Eugene and Allie Darlene (Hammond) Plant.

Travis was a kind and giving man who touched the lives of many. Family and friends fondly described Travis as “bull-headed,” a testament to his strong personality and unwavering commitment to his loved ones.

Travis found true joy in marrying the love of his life, Kathy. Together they created a warm and loving household, where spending time with family was of utmost importance. He cherished moments with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be long remembered by all.

Travis enjoyed his hobbies of fishing and hunting, reveling in the peace and beauty of nature. He was proud of his longstanding service with the Seven Points and Tool Fire Department, where he dedicated many years to the community he loved. Travis will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Travis is preceded in death by his parents, Travis and Allie Plant; and wife, Kathy Plant.

Travis is survived by his daughter, April Dokey and husband Terry of Terrell, Texas; son, Raymond Wennerstrom and wife Mary of Seven Points, Texas; granddaughter, Felicia Goff and husband Colton of Louisiana; granddaughter, Corynn Hodges and husband Jalal of New Jersey; grandson, Cameron Boren of Seven Points, Texas; granddaughter, Kaylee Boren and husband Kolton of Tool, Texas; granddaughter, Trinity Wennerstrom of Seven Points, Texas; numerous great-grandkids; sister, Terry Tipton of Joshua, Texas; brother, Harvey Plant and wife Lorraine of Seven Points, Texas; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
