Timothy Wayne Owen

Timothy Wayne Owen (49) of Temple, TX passed away on June 9, 2018.  He was born on October 22, 1968 in Corsicana, Texas to Henry and Reba Owen.

Tim, as everyone knew him, graduated from Corsicana High School in 1987.  Tim was awarded a baseball scholarship but he joined the United States Army instead after graduating school, his roll in the military was as an infantry man.  His most proud moment in life was the day that he welcomed his son Jacob into the world.  Tim really enjoyed baseball, driving his car and let’s be honest, intellectual sparing.  He truly cherished the time that he spent with family and friends.

Tim is survived by his father and his wife, Henry Owen and Charlene, Son Jacob Owen and Jacobs mother Amy Owen.  Brothers Ron Owen and his wife Joyelle, Tommy Owen and his wife Tracy.  Sisters Lorina Cole and her husband Raymond, Becky Anderson and her husband Terry.  He also has many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.  Tim will be missed by all who knew him.

Tim is preceded in death by his loving Mother, Reba.

Brother Joe Tucker with Gateway Assembly of God Church in Trinidad, Texas will be officiating for the Owen family.
