Therese J. Smith

Therese Janine Smith, 56, passed away on August 8, 2019.  She was born on April 19, 1963 in Garland, Texas to the home of Stanley H. and Olga Louise Wilson.

Janine was a wonderful woman that loved the Lord.  She loved animals, especially horses, and collected different sizes and types of horse figurines such as ceramic, plastic, resin, glass, etc.  She also loved birds, and collected many of the bird paintings her mother painted.  Janine was a die hard “hippie” and enjoyed everything pink.  She wore pink glasses, and was told that she saw the world thru “rose colored glasses.”  She was a soap opera fan so you didn’t call her after 11 a.m. because she was busy.

She loved to laugh and shared a special “lingo” with her sister Mona, which kept them entertained on their trips to Dallas and back.

She is survived by her daughter Jessica Smith; father Stanley Wilson; brothers William Wilson and wife Kathy, Robert Wilson and wife Carla, John Wilson, Michael Wilson and wife Cindy; and sister Mona Burgess.

She is preceded in death by her mother.
