Sharon Lavon Seat

Sharon Lavon Seat, 66, passed away on May 4, 2021.  She was born on April 16, 1955, in Denton, Texas, to Lavoy Hugh and Ella Dell Sangster.

Sharon was a wonderful, beautiful person, with a big heart.  She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, and watching movies.  She did, however, have a knack of always calling you at the wrong time.  While in the Cedar Creek Nursing Home she enjoyed making all kinds of craft items.  She helped set up the little store in the nursing home and assisted with its operation.  She loved her family and was a very caring and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by children Christal Lipsey-Schlapia and husband Christopher and Samuel Lipsey and wife Casie; grandchildren Kelby Stewart and wife Katelyn, Jasmine (Bella) Lipsey, Raven Lipsey, and Samantha Schlapia; great-grandson Cutter Stewart; brother Curtis Sangster and wife Kate.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents and brother Kenney Brown.

Bro. Ed Shauer with the First Church of the Nazarene in Gun Barrel City, Texas, will officiate for the Seat family.
