Samuel was a man of great conviction, never shy to share his thoughts and beliefs with those around him. His love for reading the Bible and other spiritual texts was evident in all aspects of his life, and he found solace in the teachings of figures like Jimmy Swaggart. Samuel's devout faith also led him to enjoy singing spiritual songs in church.
Aside from his spiritual pursuits, Samuel had a special place in his heart for animals. He not only loved them dearly but also dedicated his time to caring for them. His role as a supervisor at Dallas Zoo allowed him to combine his passion for animals with his work, ensuring that they received the best possible care under his watchful eye.
Among Samuel's proudest accomplishments was his involvement in ministry work. His dedication to serving others and spreading the word of God brought comfort and guidance to those in need, reflecting his kind and giving nature.
Samuel is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Agnes Collier; first wife, Nancy Collier; son, David Collier; son, Donnie Collier; daughter, Laura Henderson, and brother, Harry Collier.
Samuel is survived by his wife, Laura Collier of Forney, TX; daughter, April Rogers of Duncanville, TX; son, Samuel Lane Collier; brother, Albert Wallace Collier and wife Mabel of Palmer, TX; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, associates, and friends.
