Ruth D. Stroud, loving wife and mother, born on August 20, 1929 near Corsicana, Texas, and recently from Eustace, Texas. She is preceded into the Kingdom of Heaven by her loving husband of 61 years, W. E. Bill” Stroud. Also preceded into heaven by her brothers James Lowell “Bud” Lonsford, Charles Arthur Lonsford, William Thomas “Pete” Lonsford, Murtie LaDon “Don” Lonsford and sister, Bonnie Eugene “Jean” Allen. Survived by her sisters, Donna Mae Peters, Mary Alyce Shows, Marjorie Cezanne Lonsfjord and Charlotte Dwain Cascone. Also survived by her children Jennifer Lynn Stroud, Franklin Shawn Lonsfjord & wife Elisabeth Stephan, Shannon Dawn Rose & husband Mitchell Rose. Ruth had 5 beautiful grandchildren; David J. Grose II, Mica J. Lyman-Lipan, Shana D. Walton, Ariel R. Lyman, Nolan D. R. Waits, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
