Roger Dale Bryant

December 19, 1970 — June 28, 2017

Roger Dale Bryant Jr. (46) of Mabank, Texas was called home by the Lord to see his mom and dad on the evening of Wednesday, June 28, 2017.  He was born on December 19, 1970 to Roger Dale Bryant Sr. and Laura Ann Sands Bryant. He graduated from Eustace High School class of 1989. He is survived by his sister Cari Bryant Meiners and brother-in-law David Meiners, his three daughters; Morgan Bryant Overstreet, Makensey Bryant, and Loren Bryant, their mother Wendy Bryant, his two nephews; Jacob Meiners, and Joshua Meiners, along with numerous relatives, and a huge amount of close friends.

Roger lived in the Cedar Creek Lake area throughout the vast majority of his life, creating many unbreakable and long lasting bonds. He spent time as a construction worker, an EMT, a firefighter, a police officer, and most recently was employed by Supreme Roofing Co. He also spent time in the Army as well as the National Guard, he also briefly fought fires in Iraq during wartime. In his free time he always loved putting on a show – whether it was Jack Sparrow for the Children’s Hospital, or karaoke and a barbeque with his very best friends who were really more like family – Josh and Allison Jennings, Ricky Garza, and their families.

The service will be officiated by Pastor Don Bell of Lakeview Assembly of God, Roger’s childhood and family church. The service will take place on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Moorhead Epps Funeral Home in Gun Barrel City, Texas.
