Rodney Charles Abbott passed away suddenly on May 30, 2018 in Henderson County, Texas.

Rodney Charles Abbott of Eustace, Texas, was born on August 31, 1987 in Corsicana, Texas.  He was raised in Eustace, Texas and graduated from Eustace High School.  After graduation he went into the Air Force and after serving four years, with a tour in Afghanistan and North Carolina, was honorably discharged.  When he graduated from basic training he married his high school sweetheart, Lauren.  They were married for ten years and have four children.

Rodney was fun loving all his life and extremely competitive.  He loved football, which he played in high school, even playing with broken bones.  He cared for all his friends and would do anything for anybody.  He was generous to a fault.  He loved Gary Don Lemaster (his nephew), Bric Slampa, Drake Bentley and Collin Russell like brothers and he had many other friends.

Rodney was preceded in death by his father Gary Clifford Abbott, his daughter Lilly Nicole Abbott, his grandparents, Maurice and Terry Burroughs and Clifford and Hazel Abbott.

His wife Lauren Abbott,  sons Lathon, Rodney (JR) & Tripp Abbott and his daughter Harper Abbott will miss him so much.

He will be missed by his Mother, Terry Ann Grinie and his Stepfather Samuel R. Grinie, Mother-in-law Nancy Cravey and Father-in-law Shannon (Droop) Cravey. He will also be greatly missed by his brother Danny Abbott, sister Glenna Johnson and her husband Brian Johnson, his sister Brigette Abbott Smock, sister-in-law Haley Cravey and her husband Luke Bradley.  Nieces and nephews Gary Don Lemaster, Rebekah Lemaster, Danielle Abbott, Sterling and Cody Smock, Hannah Abbott, Brenda and Everly Bradley.

He will always be in our hearts.
