Rick Patrick

Rick Patrick, age 66, passed away on April 27, 2025, in Tool, Texas. He was born on June 11, 1958, to parents Charles “Pete” and Daisy “Ruth” Patrick.

Rick spent nearly 20 years as a machine maintenance mechanic, where his hard work and skills made him a reliable figure among his colleagues.

Rick had a warm and selfless personality, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. This generous spirit was a cornerstone of his life, and he will be remembered fondly for the many lives he touched with his caring nature.

He married the love of his life, Dianne, on December 19, 1984, in Dallas, Texas. They shared almost 40 years of great memories, building a life filled with laughter and companionship. Together, they raised a family and created a home filled with love and support.

Rick cherished the moments spent fishing with his son. He was happiest on the lake. Rick had a love for fast cars and motorcycles, often enjoying afternoons watching racecars zip past in thrilling competitions. Cooking out with family was another joy in his life, where he would gather loved ones to share delicious meals and stories.

Throughout his life, Rick was proud to be known as a good man and a great father, a title he wore with honor. His memory will undoubtedly live on through the many wonderful moments he shared with those who knew him.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Charles “Pete” and Daisy “Ruth” Patrick; brothers, Chuck and Nick Patrick; and his sister, Sherri Willimson.

Rick is survived by his wife, Dianne Patrick; son, Ricky Lee Patrick II, wife Lindsay Patrick; grandchild, Bailey – Monroe Patrick; brother-in-law, Donald and Tonya Kile; brother in law, Jack and Penny Kile; sister-in-law, Liz and Cruz Guevara; sister-in-law, Mary and Danny Weathersby; sister-in-law, Shalan and Chris Saylors, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, family, friends, and loved ones.
