Richard Douglas "Dick" Winder 64 born May 1, 1947 in Way Cross Georgia to the home of Richard Leroy Winder and Peggy June Douglas Winder, passed away May 30, 2011 at his home in Gun Barrel City, Texas with his family by his side. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Velma "Val" Pleasant, children Todd Winder and his wife Telissa, Wendy Crockett and her husband William, their mother Judy Olson and her husband Jerry, Pamela Ann Orum, Michelle Roberts and her husband John, Allan Dale Pleasant and his wife Sherry, brother Harry Winder and his wife Debbie, Tom Winder, Joe Winder and his wife Cindy, sister Cindy Sullivan and her husband Ed, son in law Author Pryor, 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Kimberly Pryor. Services were June 2, 2011 officiated by Rev. Jimmy Haley, at Moorhead Epps Funeral Home in Gun Barrel City.
