Patricia Ann Pipes

Patricia Ann Pipes, 80 of Gun Barrel City, Texas passed peacefully on May 31, 2018.  She was born on February 2, 1938 in Ada, Oklahoma to the home of Roy & Jeanette Starks.

Pat, as everyone knew her by, graduated from Forest Avenue High School in Dallas, Texas.  After school she worked as an office manager and a corrections officer.  In 1961 she married Clifford; they were blessed with 5 children.  In Pat’s spare time she loved cooking, camping and traveling.  She was a member of The VFW American Legions & The Women’s Auxiliary Group – Past Grand Rebekahs Lodge.  She truly cherished spending time with her family and friends.

Pat is survived by her brother James Starkes, her loving husband of 57 years Clifford, daughters Diane Green & her husband Robert, Debbie Pipes, Darlene Pipes, sons Darwin Pipes & his wife Patricia, Ricky Pipes and Charles Scott & his wife Laura.  She has numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces & nephews and a host of other family and friends.  Pat will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Glen & LeRoy, and sisters Maebelle & Marilyn.
