Patricia “Patty” Rose Perdue, 77, passed away on August 9, 2024, at her home in Kemp, Texas. She was born on October 16, 1946, in Phoenix, Arizona to parents Pat and Evelyn (Watson) Foreman.
As a sweet woman with a loving spirit, Patty found joy in fostering strong relationships with her family and friends. She reveled in her role as a mother, often expressing her pride in her children and the accomplishments they achieved. Her love for family was evident in every interaction, and she consistently sought ways to nurture and support those around her. Patty was also a Christian by faith and was very proud of her devotion and love for God.
Patty dedicated much of her life to her career, notably serving the Southwestern Bell for an impressive 32 years. Her work ethic and commitment were evident to all who knew her. Throughout her career, she was known not only for her diligence but also for the kindness and warmth she extended to her colleagues and clients alike. Patty was also a member Foresters Financial, a foundation that shaped both her professional path and her approaches to life’s challenges.
Patty enjoyed hobbies that included participating in local bowling leagues, where her competitive yet friendly demeanor shone through. In quieter moments, she delighted in coloring books and map pencils, finding relaxation and creativity in each stroke. Additionally, her passion for crocheting allowed her to create beautiful handmade gifts for loved ones, each piece imbued with the love and care she was known for. Patty was also known to have a great fondness for Elvis.
Patty had 4 other babies, whom she loved more than anything - her 3 Yorkies, Sassy, Yogi, BoBo, and her 18-year-old cat, Samantha. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Evelyn Foreman; and brother, Kenneth Foreman.
Patty is survived by her husband, George Andrew “Andy” Perdue; sister, Lorene Hill; son, Michael Perdue and wife Shelley; daughter, Theresa Moss and husband Juan; grandson, Christopher Perdue and wife Jenna; granddaughter, Brittany Albizures and husband Junior and family; grandson, Cody Perdue and wife Sunny and family; granddaughter, Chelsey Greenlee; grandson, Kyle Moss; grandson, Joshua Garza and wife Dominique; grandson, Jeremy Lamb and wife Ashley; great-grandchildren, Kellen Perdue, Tucker Perdue, Matthew Perdue, Izaiah Albizures, Olivia Albizures, Riley Lamb, as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
