Pamela "Memaw" Sue Lovejoy, 60, passed away on August 22, 2024, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on February 7, 1964, in Amarillo, Texas to parents Isaac and Katherine (Mair) Spicer.
A proud graduate of cosmetology school, Pamela not only got her certification but embraced her passion for beauty with open arms. She was the kind of person who'd go above and beyond, someone you'd want around during tough times because she was the most giving person ever. Honestly, she would literally give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.
Whenever she wasn’t making people feel beautiful, you could find Pamela getting lost in her hobby of soap-making or enjoying a good videogame, with Mortal Kombat being her ultimate favorite. It’s safe to say no one was ever ready for the fierce battles she brought to the screen! And let’s not forget her karaoke sessions, where she'd belt out Black Velvet with gusto that could make even the shyest person join in. Pamela was also known to have a sweet tooth, tiramisu was her all-time favorite dessert.
More than anything, Pamela cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. She proudly raised two “bad kids” and took great joy in witnessing their growth. The true highlight of her life was undoubtedly her grandchildren, for whom she felt immeasurable love and pride. Pamela will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Katherine Spicer; and her brother, Michael Spicer.
Left to cherish Pamela’s memory is her son, Josh Lovejoy of Missoula, Montana; daughter, Tiffany Lovejoy of Gun Barrel City, Texas; granddaughter, Isabella Robinson of Gun Barrel City, Texas; grandson, Brandon Robinson of Kemp, Texas; granddaughters, Ryleigh and Raylene Robinson of Kemp, Texas; sister, Carrie Poe and husband Tracy of Mabank, Texas; sister, Sharon Glasscock of Mabank, Texas; brother, Patrick Spicer of Seagoville, Texas; brother, Reese Spicer of Kooskia, Idaho; as well as numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, extended family, and friends.
