Olivia Huffhines Pearson

Olivia Huffhines Pearson was born to Oliver and Mildred (Prewitt) Huffhines on February 13, 1944, in Richardson, TX.  Olivia passed away on April 26, 2023, in Athens, Texas.

Olivia was a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother.  She previously had a successful career as a bookkeeper which spanned many years before retiring to the lake.  In retirement, Olivia could be found with her husband Bob out on the golf course or relaxing on the boat. Though she didn't initially enjoy golfing, it grew to be one of her favorite pastimes and brought her immense joy.  Olivia best showed her love through baking, her grandkids always had cookies and cakes waiting for them when they came to visit.  In her later years, she enjoyed many afternoons playing Bridge with local friends. 

Olivia will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her four sons, Scott Hover and wife Tammy of Dallas, TX; Jeff Hover and wife Yolanda of Midlothian, TX; Todd Hover and wife Cheryl of Oak Park IL; Brad Hover and wife Julie of Los Angeles, CA; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Olivia is also survived by her sister, Rebecca Hughey of McKinney, TX; sister-in-law, Betty Huffhines of Hillsboro, TX; as well as longtime friends and neighbors, Dee and Cheryl Nichols, and Willie and Diane Moore.

Olivia was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Mildred Huffhines; husband, Robert Pearson; and brother Stanley Huffhines.
