Mary Lee Brown

Mary Lee Brown, 72, of Eustace, TX went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2024.  Mary was born on April 18, 1951, to George Lee and Winifred Mae Pass in Etowah, TN. She settled in Texas with her family in 1973.  Mary was married to John Barr for a loving 17 years before he passed away. She worked as a home health nurse for 15 years. Mary loved watching her soap operas, especially Young and the Restless; but her most precious time was spent taking care of her grandkids. She was a Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Aunt.  

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, George and Winifred, husband John, sister Annie Cunningham, sister-in-laws: Carla Pass and Naomi Shiflett, and brother-in-law David Sondrell. 

Those left to cherish her memory are children: John Eugene Zinke and wife Tammy, Billie Jean Murray and husband Courtney; grandchildren: Carlee Dawn Long and husband Timothy Waskom; Colton Don Brown and wife Bailey Brown; great grandchildren: Raelynn Brown and Ry’lynn Waskom; siblings: Marvin Shiflett, Martha Pass, George Lee Pass, Wilifored Wayne Pass and wife Teresa, Crystal Raynad Sondrell, Dale Eugen Pass, George Lee Pass, Jr., Susan McFarland; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
