Martin was a proud Korean War veteran who dedicated 24 years of his life to the United States Navy. Serving as a Chief Petty Officer (CPO), he was a master mechanic tasked with the high-stakes responsibility of maintaining fighter jets. His precision and expertise ensured the safety of countless pilots and the success of the missions he supported.
Following his honorable retirement from the Navy, Martin continued his service to the community for another 20 years as a dedicated mailman at the Fort Worth post office. Whether in uniform or on his mail route, Martin believed in a job well done.
The Master Mechanic
To those who knew him, Martin was the man who could fix anything. His hands were rarely still, and his mechanical mind was a marvel to his family and friends. He took immense pride in working hard and saving diligently, always prioritizing the future and welfare of his loved ones above all else.
