Marshall Butler

Marshall Milton Butler, 90, was born on Feb. 16, 1933, to the parents of Charlie and Nellie Butler in Bennington, Oklahoma, and was called home on April 6, 2023. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Laura Marie Butler.  Marshall and Laura were married for over 65 years.  Also preceding him in death are his parents Charlie and Nellie (Blackburn) Butler, and brother Arthur Clay Butler.

Left to cherish his memories are his sisters Barbara Ann Chandler of Tatum, Texas, and Sarah Nell Bramblett of Dallas, Texas, children Kathy Indrelunas and husband Steve of Corpus Christi, Tx, and Brian Butler and wife Monica of Mobile, AL. His grandchildren are Jeffrey Harris and wife Tiffany of Mabank, Tx, Sierra Ray and husband Michael of Montgomery, Tx, and Lindsay Butler of Mobile, AL.  Great Grandchildren are Brooklyn & Dylan Ray of Montgomery, Tx, Jackson & Jolene Harris of Mabank, Tx, and Lillian Black of Mobile, AL. Marshall was a member of the Masonic Roddy Lodge # 734 in Mabank for over 50 years.  He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mabank.  He worked for the Atlantic Richfield Oil Company, in Dallas, TX, as a Map Draftsman and Union representative and later retired 23 years later to open a dairy in Mabank.  He continued to raise cattle on his farm in Mabank after getting out of the dairy business.
