Louis was a man of many talents, with a deep appreciation for working with his hands. His career saw him dabbling in various fields including plumbing, welding, roofing, and construction. He took great pride in the jobs he tackled, always fascinated by the process of building and creating. Louis was a skilled craftsman and a kind-hearted friend.

He and both of his sisters would pack sack lunches for what they affectionately called the “Mercury trip,” taking them along Mercury Road on their five-mile trek. When rain brought the chance to catch crawdads, the kids with bacon and bologna in hand made the most of every downpour, reminding everyone of the simple joys in life.

In his downtime, Louis was a man who loved the outdoors. He found joy in fishing, camping, and drawing.
