Linda Sue Van Noy, age 65, was born April 8, 1959, in Ft. Rucker, Alabama, and passed away on June 1, 2024 in Kemp, TX.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Van Noy and wife Holly of Kemp, TX; grandson, Lennox Shaffer of Kemp, TX; sister, Anita Coy of Alabama; brother, Ernest Coy of Alabama; brother, Dwayne Coy Jr. of Alabama; Mary Herring of Kemp, TX; and numerous other extended family, friends, and loved ones.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Milburn and Lena Maxine Parnell; birth parents, Sybil and Dwayne Coy, Sr.; husband, Marion Van Noy; sister, Doris “Deloris” Coy; and sister, Jane Fields.
Linda was a remarkable soul known for her kind, compassionate nature. She touched many lives with her grace and generosity. Her caring personality endeared her to all and made others feel valued and seen.
Linda's passion for helping others was evident in her proudest accomplishment—running an adult foster care and group home for over 20 years. Her dedication to providing care and support to those in need was truly admirable and left a lasting impact on the community she served.
Linda found joy in simple pleasures. She liked working on puzzles, crafting, tending to her beloved flowers and plants, and expressing her creativity through diamond painting. These hobbies not only brought her happiness but also allowed her to spread positivity and beauty wherever she went.
Family and friends of Linda will forever hold dear the memories they shared with her—the laughter, the love, and the moments of pure connection. While she may no longer be physically present, Linda's spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
