Lilian Black Speight

Lilian Black Speight, age 89, passed away on January 5, 2026, in Mabank, Texas. She was born on July 23, 1936, in London, England.

Lilian was known for her infectious smile and her ability to bring warmth to every gathering. The thing she enjoyed greatly was sitting outside and enjoying a margarita while chit chatting.

Lilian lived a fulfilling life. She was a simple woman who worked hard all her life and enjoyed 25 years of retirement.

Lilian is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Malcolm Christie; sister, Vera Cordova; son, Donald Black; and daughter, Debbie Black.

Lilian is survived by her husband, James Speight of Enchanted Oaks, Texas; grandson, Brett Day, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Jennifer Black and Donelle Black; as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
