Lila Beth Smith

Lila Beth Smith of Payne Springs, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 10, 2017.  She was born September 24, 1937 in Eustace, Texas to Evertt Davis and Rose Huddlston Richardson.

Lila grew up in a loving home with a sister; Rose Mary Abbott and a brother; Frank Davis.  Lila attended Eustace High School.  On December 24, 1957 she married the love of her life, Jerrell.  Lila had one the hardest jobs ever, staying home and taking care of her beautiful family and spending time with her 3 grandchildren.  In Lila’s spare time she enjoyed being outside, sewing, reading her bible and telling stories about the good o’l days.  But mostly Lila cherished spending time with her family and friends.  She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great friend to many

She is survived by her sister Rose Mary Abbott, brother in law Jack Abbott, 2 children; Jerrell Ray Smith & his wife Dee Ann and Alison Gay Smith, 3 grandchildren; Jeremy Ray Smith, Travis Allen Meeks and Emily Rose Smith and her 1 great grandson; Charlie Allen Meeks.  Lila has many other family members and a host of friends.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Lila is preceded in death by her parents, step dad A.D. Richardson, her brother Frank Davis and her loving husband Jerrell Smith.

Bro. Paul McKinney with the First Baptist Church in Eustace, Texas will be officiating for the Smith family.
