Larry Wayne House, 65, passed away on November 13, 2020. He was born on February 1, 1955, in Greenville, Texas, to Henry Gilbert and Dorothy Lee House.
He graduated in 1973 from Rains High School in Emory, Texas and married Jeanie Brown on May 27, 1977, in Dallas, Texas. Larry worked at 4D Fire Protection for 33 years as a service tech selling fire extinguishers. Larry and Jeanie worked at a bingo hall together and enjoyed going dancing on the weekends with friends and family. Larry never met a stranger and was always laughing and telling jokes; he spoke his mind. He helped out when he could and always put himself last. He loved to play gin rummy and dominos. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR, WWE Wrestling, and dirt track racing. More than anything, he loved spending time with his grandkids and his little dog Opie. Every night he would call his daughter Krystal and the grandkids on Facebook to tell them goodnight and that he loved him. “Sure You Do” is what he would say to Krystal. Larry will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jeanie; daughter Krystal Pickering and husband Mickey of Wills Point, TX; grandchildren Khloe Pickering, Konner Pickering, and Kennedy Pickering; sister Joyce Weldon of Forney, TX; brother Dearl House of Terrell, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Patsy House and Sherri Hogue; brothers Kenneth House and Dennis House.
