Landon Christopher Huls

Aug 12, 2002 — Jul 20, 2026

Fruitvale, Texas

Landon Christopher Huls, age 23, passed away on July 20, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. He was born in Athens, Texas on August 12, 2002.

Landon graduated from Kemp High School in 2021 and was working as an electrician apprentice. He enjoyed the simple things in life and never needed recognition to be happy. Landon was kind-hearted, cared deeply about the people around him, and was content being himself.

Landon loved spending time playing video games, going live on apps with his friends, and getting lost in a good book. His favorites included the Harry Potter series, the Percy Jackson series, and For Whom the Bell Tolls. Landon was fascinated by Greek and Norse mythology and enjoyed learning about astrology. One of Landon’s biggest dreams was to travel the world someday.

Family meant everything to Landon. He was a true momma's boy and shared a special bond with each of his sisters. Growing up, he loved spending time with them, and if there was ever a spider in the house, Landon was the one they called. One of his sister Hailey's favorite memories is spending her leave from the Navy simply driving around together, talking and enjoying each other's company. His sister Angie remembers rubbing in front of his ear when he was little to help him fall asleep. Those small moments meant the world.

Landon was also a creature of habit. He loved Whataburger, always ordered the exact same meal at Taco Bell, and adored his dog, Dobby, who was his constant companion.

More than anything, Landon will be remembered for the way he made people feel. He was genuine, caring, and never pretended to be someone he wasn't. He found joy in everyday life, loved his family and friends with his whole heart, and left behind memories that will be cherished forever. Landon will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Landon is preceded in death by grandparents, Annie Holt, Joni Huls, Chris Huls, Billy Alexander, Sr., Peggy Alexander, Francis Brown, and Jim Brown.
