Kenneth Harvey Springer Jr., age 67, of Balch Springs, Texas, passed away on March 30, 2026. He was born in Dallas, Texas, on May 10, 1958 to parents, Kenneth Springer, Sr., and Juanita (Lumby) Springer.
Kenneth was a man who loved his family deeply, especially his children, whose accomplishments he held close to his heart. He spent his free time immersed in activities that brought him joy and relaxation, including playing darts, strumming his guitar, riding motorcycles, and fishing. His interests also extended to researching Jewish biblical history, a pursuit that showed his curiosity and dedication to learning.
Kenneth was known for having a good time with friends and being stubborn. He was willing to lend a hand to when he could within his means. Friends and family remember Kenneth not just for his talents and hobbies but for his work ethic.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth H Springer, Sr., and Juanita M Lumby; maternal grandparents Dorothy Thomas and LeRoy Lumby and paternal grandparents Clinton Green Springer and Alpha Lee Mann: and grandson, Triston Springer.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Kenneth Springer III and wife Christina of Palestine, Texas; granddaughter, Mellisa Hall and husband Ryan of Palestine, Texas; granddaughter, Kandace Marks and husband David of Palestine, Texas; great-granddaughter, Baylee Hall of Palestine, Texas; great-granddaughter, Katalina Marks of Palestine, Texas; son, Quinton Springer of Palestine, Texas; grandson, Anthony Neely of Palestine, Texas, daughter, Angelita Young of Palestine, Texas; granddaughter, Trina Bambeck of Palestine, Texas; great-grandson, Luis Morales of Bryan, Texas; great-granddaughter, Ivy Morales of Bryan, Texas; grandson, Andrew Bambeck of Palestine, Texas; daughter, LaTricia Warren of Palestine, Texas; grandson, Alexander Pena of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Kierra Pena of Palestine, Texas; sister, Robin Waterman and husband Tim of Boyd, Texas; brother, Terry Richardson of Addison, Texas; sister, Cecilia Smith and husband Steven of Ft. Worth, Texas; brother, Shane Ballard of Byron, Georgia; sister, Frances Lumby of Balch Springs, Texas; as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
