Keith Edward Shelton

Keith E. (Eddie) Shelton was born on November 18, 1933, in Mercedes Texas, to Landi and Gladys Shelton. He lived in Wesleco Texas until he joined the United States Navy in 1950. He served his country for 5 years and was a proud Korean War Veteran. Keith, or Eddie known to most, was a diesel mechanic for many years. He was also a long haul truck driver for over 50 years and even did team driving with his wife Saundra. He was a father of 7, a grandfather of 17, a great grandfather of 14, and just "Pepaw" to many others who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gladys and Landi Shelton, his brother Richard Shelton, and 3 sisters Desene Harris, Alene Shaw, and Rita Burnham.

He is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Saundra Shelton of Payne Springs Texas, his sister Sharon Chinn of Granite Shoals Texas, his Brother Buddy Shelton and Dottie of Mc Allan Texas, his 5 sons Keith Shelton Jr. and wife Ruby of Springfield Illinois, Bryan Morrow and wife Debra of Peel Town Texas, Robert Shelton of Mesquite Texas, Kenneth Shelton and wife Ruth of Mississippi, Jonathan Shelton and wife Rhonda of Royce City Texas, his 2 daughters Kimberley Shelton Burkett and Jason Burleson of Waxahachie Texas and Tonya Kaye Hill of Payne Springs Texas.
