Justin Lee Patrick

Justin Lee Patrick, age 40, passed away on October 7, 2025 in Gun Barrel City, Texas. He was born on November 8, 1984, in Dallas, Texas to parents William Jerry and Tammie Marie (Sloan) Patrick.

Justin was known for his friendly and easy-going personality, which made him a joy to be around. He loved meeting people and cherished the time spent with friends. Many who knew him would fondly remember his unique way of approaching tasks; if asked to mow the lawn, he had a knack for dressing the part, whether it be as a landscaper, painter, or contractor. He had a humorous character that made even the simplest chores entertaining.

Professionally, Justin worked at Larson Electronics, where he enjoyed the responsibility of collaborating with others to complete the job at hand. He was ambitious and aspired to move up within the company. His dedication to his work reflected his commitment to bettering himself and contributing positively to those around him.

Justin was passionate about many things outside of work. A lover of music, he spent time playing his guitar, and he enjoyed listening to various philosophers such as Alan Walls and Manly P. Hall. Additionally, he dedicated time to working on his car and was in the process of building a desk from collected scrap wood—a project that showcased both his creativity and resourcefulness. Camping with his girlfriend brought him joy as he relished the chance to explore nature and create memories together.

Perhaps his proudest accomplishment was as a new father, a role that deeply fulfilled him. Justin took great pride in the bond shared between his son and daughter, Hayli and Nathan, and he eagerly looked forward to knowing his grandson, Nolan. His love for his family was evident; he was beautiful in spirit, loved God, and always wanted his family to know how much he cared for them, feeling remorseful if he ever caused them pain.

Justin is preceded in death by his father, William Patrick; grandmother, Joyce Coe; grandmother, Shirley Patrick; grandfather, Kenneth Sloan; grandfather, Dixie Patrick; aunt, Carla Davis; and dear friend, Carl Thompson.

Justin is survived by daughter, Hayli Patrick of Mississippi; son, Nathan Patrick of Mississippi; grandson, Nolan Patrick of Mississippi; mother, Tammie Patrick of Mabank, Texas; sisters, Jasmine Tran of San Diego, California, Rachel Bueche, and Hanna Logan; brothers, Jeremy Vance, Jacob May, and Jessie Albright; uncle, Kenneth Sloan of Gun Barrel City, Texas; cousin, Brandy Valadez of Commerce, Texas; cousin, John Davis of Texas; as well as numerous family, friends, and loved ones.
