Joyce Renee Clarke

Joyce Renee Clarke, 47, passed away on December 29, 2020.  She was born on May 25, 1973, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Robert William and Sandra Patterson Parker.

To my beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister; We met 27 years ago, and I knew right from the moment I met you, you were my soul mate.  We were married two months after we met and have been together ever since.  We had four beautiful children together, and we watched them grow up to be caring and outstanding adults.  We are so proud of all of them.  Throughout our life together, you kept this family strong and proved that family is everything time and time again.  You were a bright smile in everyone’s life you touched and cared for.  You loved taking care of children and babies in the nursery at church, and if a friend needed you to watch their child, you would jump right in and help.  You have always been a light in the darkness for all of us, and I promise I will keep that light shining bright as we move forward thru life and keep your memory alive and in everyone’s hearts, the way you did with everyone.  Rest now, baby; you have earned it.  Fly high with those angel wings and give love to your father and my mom and dad.  Till we see each other again, my beautiful angel.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Dennis Clarke; children Emily Travers, James Clarke, Ariel Clarke and husband Dylan Huckeba, Zachary Clarke, and William Clarke and fiance‘ Chayla Nix; her mother Sandra Parker; stepmothers Nancy Reznicek-Parker and Inma Blanco; brother Robert William Parker, Jr.; sisters Susie Parker Hudson, Rhonda Parker Beetz, and Chrystal Parker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert William Parker.
