JoAnn Richardson

JoAnn Richardson, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on September 25, 2019.  She was born on October 6, 1940, in Patrick, Texas to the home of Edgar and Lily Vanwinkle Lusk.

She was an old fashioned mom.  Her family was her everything.  All her activities revolved around her husband and children.  Even though she couldn’t drive, she somehow managed to attend all school activities.  She made sure there was always a hot meal waiting for the family at dinner time.  She never complained when asked to care for the grandchildren.  All her time was spent involved in activities with family and friends.

JoAnn will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children Robert Richardson and Nelda Richardson; grandchildren Jesse Richardson, Lili Richardson, Timmy Richardson, Emily Richardson, Carmen, Jewel Richardson, Lucy Lollis, and Johnny Lollis, Jr.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Lee Roy Richardson; brothers James Lusk, Lance Lusk; sister Janice Lane; and niece Nancy Lane.
