God Saw You

God saw you getting tired,

When a cure was not to be.

So he wrapped His arms around you,

And whispered, "Come to me."

With tearful eyes we watched

You slowly fade away.

Although we loved you dearly,

We would not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Your hard working hands put to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best.

Jerry Wayne Foster, 75, passed away on October 10, 2021. He was born on July 7, 1946, in Indianapolis, IN, to parents John H. and Frances Romack Foster.

“PaPaw” loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren more than anything else. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son and riding the side by side with his grandkids. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jerry is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Frances Eileen Foster.

He is survived by his children Tina and David Smith, Anthony Foster, Steven and Teresa Foster; grandchildren David and Courtney Smith, Sammy and Jay Smith, Jerry and Hannah Foster II, Shawn and Bree Smith, Taylor and Commodore Brock, and Bentley Foster; great-grandchildren Zane, Avery, Baylie, Raylie, Faith, Flynn, Allie Jo, Easton, Madi, Waylon, Rebeka, and Brooklynn.
