James Bohannon

October 26, 1932 — September 7, 2010


James Thomas "Tommy" Bohannon of Eustace was born Oct. 26th 1932 to Ollie and Mary Bohannon in Dallas Tx. and went to be with Jesus on Sept. 7th in Eustace Tx. He passed away at home surrounded by his family. He was retired after years of being in the Heating and air conditioning business, and was in the cattle business with son Ken. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Eustace with Bro. Paul Mckinney officiating, and under the direction of Moorehead Epps funeral home in Gun Barrel City He was preceeded in death by his parents Ollie and Mary, and brothers Edward,and Herschel, and sister Katie and is survived by his wife Gwen of Eustace, Sons Nick Bohannon and wife Julie of Eustace, Ken Bohannon and wife Phyllis of Mabank, Bart Bohannon and wife Tracy of Eustace and daughter Carla Weems and husband Ray of Eustace. Sisters Marguerite Deckert of Dallas, and Mary Henry of Thrall Tx. 14 grandchildren, Craig Bohannon and Melissa of Corsicana, Bryan Bohannon and wifeAngela of Kemp, Dustin Weems and wife Amanda of Eustace, Aaron Bohannon and wife Sandy of Eustace, Lindsay Spivey and husband Kevin of Mabank, Staci Owen and husband Rand of Mesquite, Ashton Neeb and wife Bethany of Rowlett, Heath Bohannon of Eustace, David Cambell of Eustace, Chance Mathis of Eustace, Nicky(Bo) Bohannon of Eustace, Bobby Bowen Jr. of Plano, Courtney Bowen of Garland, and Jordan Griffith of Corinth. 6 great Grandchildren: Preslee Spivey, Keyton Bohannon, Abbygayle Weatherford, Ty Bohannon, Keylee Bohannon, Remington Spivey. And numerous nieces and nephews and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Ashigbi for his loving care and Cedar Lake Hospice for their compassion and care of our loved one.
