Hurl Lawry

Hurl Lawry, 98, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 20, 2019.  He was born on December 7, 1920, in Akron, OH to the home of Nicholas T. and Bertha Lawry.

He retired from Goodyear Aerospace in Akron, Ohio.  In his retirement years he enjoyed woodworking and building electronics.  He also enjoyed listening to big band music.

Hurl is survived by his daughter Christine Seel and husband Bill; sister Marjorie Shives; grandson Jack Thayer; nieces Jean Case of Florida and Barbara Trent of Oregon; nephews Bob Lawry of California and Bill Shives and Jim Shives of Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary Juanita; and brother Ralph Lawry.
