Homer Letterest Max, Jr.

Homer L. Max, Jr. passed peacefully at home on June 6, 2020.  He was born on January 8, 1943, in Kankakee, IL.

Homer was a loving father, husband, and friend who faithfully provided for his family his entire life.  He was an entrepreneur who didn’t know the meaning of retirement.  He will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Homer is survived by his wife, Kathy Max; three daughters Mellissa Gregory and husband Lance, Millicent Hudson and husband David, and Monica Wynn and husband Rasheem; three grandchildren Kelsey Max, Mathew Nearing, and Mason Nearing; and one step-grandchild Sydnee Wynn.

A memorial service will be held at Monica Wynn’s Home, 6478 SH 198, Mabank, TX  75156, on June 27 at 6:00 p.m.
