Holly Ann Sparks

Holly Sparks, wife of Bobby Sparks of Tyler, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 12, 2021.  Holly was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on September 21, 1947, to parents Hugh and Jane Harris.

She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas and Kilgore Junior College.  She was retired from Henderson County, where she worked as an Assistant County Auditor in the county courthouse in Athens for 21 years.  A lifelong Catholic, Holly and her family attended Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Tyler.

Holly is survived by her immediate family, husband Bobby; sons Brent and Anthony; grandchildren Alyssa, Brittney, Tyler, and Colton; niece Kellie Morris and husband Scott; sisters Toni Trimble and Linda Hunt.

She is preceded in death by parents Hugh and Jane Harris; brother-in-law Ralph Trimble.

Father John Bowlin, with St. Jude Catholic Church in Gun Barrel City, Texas, will officiate for the Sparks family.

Pallbearers are Wade McKinney, Bodie Hillhouse, David Baker, Brance Irby, Dennis Emerson, and Dickey Wade.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Holly’s name be made to the American Cancer Society.
