Hollie Lee Barnes went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2025.
Our hearts are shattered. Our lives are changed forever. Our memories, however, are the best asset she left us as she will never be forgotten, and always remembered as a beautiful force of energy.
She loved fiercely, sometimes overly protective of all she loved, and never met a stranger.
Hollie never ‘snuck’ into a room; she was loud, always smiling, and had no filters - she said what was on her mind and people respected her for that! Her personality was enviable, making the biggest obstacles seem trivial.
Her proudest accomplishment in her life was her two sons, Kelton and Kaleb. She could be strict, but always fair, and they were literally her lifeline.
Hollie loved the water - any form or fashion! If she could hang out at a pool, lake, river, or hot tub, she was happiest! On any given weekend, you could find her on Galveston island with a pop-up tent, soaking up the sun and listening to the waves.
Hollie leaves behind her two sons, Kelton and Kaleb, her mother, Cheri Barnes-Leath, her stepfather, David Leath, and so many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
One thing is certain - she left a permanent imprint on your soul, and you will never forget her beautiful, beautiful smile!
Rest in peace, Hollie Lee Barnes. 12/30/77 - 11/19/25
