Will I sing Hallelujah or Will I be able to Speak at All..."

Henry Burton Wells, Jr., born on November 14, 1942, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on March 18, 2024. A man of many talents, a veteran of the United States Navy, and a member of Grace Community Church. Burton was a beloved soul whose memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Throughout his life, Burton exemplified resilience and versatility, having pursued a career at Vought Aircraft and enriched his diverse skill set.   Renowned as a "Jack of all trades," he embraced challenges with unwavering determination.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Burton found joy in various hobbies such as working jigsaw puzzles, tending to his farm, operating his tractor, crafting  exquisite carpentry pieces, constructing intricate birdhouses, and delighting in the company of hummingbirds.

Burton now rests peacefully alongside those who have gone before him - his parents, Henry Burton Wells, Sr. and Edith (Wells) Dehart; stepmother, Leonora Wells; son, Jeremy Don Wells; sister-in-law, Norma Humphrey; brother, Jimmy Dehart; niece, Jenny Swafford; and nephew, Jason Wells. Their hearts will intertwine as they reunite with each other again.

Among those holding onto precious memories are Burton's devoted wife Ruthie Wells of almost 60 years; his sons, John Burton Wells with wife Vickie; Jeffrey Allen Wells with wife Stacie; grandchildren, Danielle Killingsworth with husband Trent; Jack Wells; Colton Wells; and Corey Wells; great-grandchildren Luke, Lauren and Leighton Killingsworth; siblings:, Bruce Wells; Bill Wells; Brenda Oconnor; Bridgett Beddingfield and husband Randy; Larry Dehart; David Dehart with wife Diana; Gail Carnell and husband Jimmy Don; and Steve Dehart and wife Shirley; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
