Helen Josephine Riley Romine

Helen Josephine Riley Romine, 82, passed away at home on Saturday May 29, 2021 surrounded by loved ones.  She was born on September 10, 1938, in Howe, Texas, to Arthur Lee and Myrtle Permelia Riley.

Prior to moving to Mabank, Helen was a long time resident of Lewisville,TX and made a deep impact on so many in that community. She was known as "Granny" to most as she was the kind of person that took care of whoever needed help. She lived her life for her family and everyone she met along the way became a part of that. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Helen is survived by her husband of 63 years Winfred Lee Romine; children Donna Romine, Debbie Kay Romine, and Joseph Lee Romine; five grandchildren Marshall and wife Krissy, Crystal and husband Jermaine, Jenny and husband Olayinka, Tyler and wife Victoria, and Edward Vann; seven great-grandchildren Alex, Jordyn, Brielle, Kaylee, Kai, Gavin, and Liana; sisters Shirley Keller and husband Charles (Butch), and Louise Butler and husband Danny; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ernest Riley and Dean Riley, and  sister Mary Dhane.
