Gwendora Cano

Gwendora “Gwen” Cano passed away on August 23, 2021.  She was born on April 14, 1952, in McDowell, KY, to parents Willie and Rachel Collins.

Gwen was a kind, loving person with a heart of gold.  She enjoyed listening to “The Old Regular Baptist Church.”  Our mom loved nothing more than being with her family.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Coy Cano; children Michelle Davis and husband Fred, Bud Cheshier and wife Tina, Teri Cano, Jr. Cano, Chris Cano, Johnny Garcia, and Abel Cano; grandchildren Rachel Thompson and husband Justin, Shelby Luttrell and wife Rachel, Jason Cheshier, Zachry Cheshier, and Caden Davis; and great-grandchildren Marley Jackson, Jade Thompson, Kenton Adamson, and Deklan Cheshier.

Gwen is preceded in death by her parents and 12 siblings.

Rev. George Yarger with Harbor Baptist Church in Payne Springs, Texas, will officiate for the Cano family.

Pallbearers are Bud Cheshier, Shelby Luttrell, Chris McManus, Matt North, Justin Thompson, and Fred Davis.
