Gloria Crowhurst

Gloria Crowhurst, age 76, passed away on August 6, 2025, in Kaufman, Texas. She was born on June 2, 1949, to parents Lee and Arawana (Litherland) Wilcox.

Gloria had a special fondness for old television shows, and many will remember her passion for classic series such as Gunsmoke and Highway Patrol. These programs provided her with joy and a sense of nostalgia, often sparking lively conversations about the good old days.

In addition to her love for television, Gloria found great pleasure in gardening. She loved colorful flowers and roses, her green thumb brought beauty and happiness into her home.

Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Crowhurst; daughter, Seba Meyers; and aunt, Judith Litherland.

Gloria is survived by her son, James Crowhurst of Gun Barrel City, Texas; son, Jerry Dean Wilcox and wife of Ohio; sister, June Wolf and husband, Terry; family friends, Glenda and George Smith of Payne Springs, Texas; step-son, Terry and Leona Crowhurst of Keller, Texas; nephew and sister-in-law, Phillip and Felicia Crowhurst of Stephensville, Texas; nieces and nephews, Zoe, Austin, Tyler, and Cecelia, sister, Judy Crowhurst of Marietta, Texas; and numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
