Gary Freeman Crawford

Gary Freeman Crawford, 73, passed away on November 7, 2019, at his home.  He was born on January 3, 1946, in Gary, OK, to parents Archie and Ruby Crawford.

He worked for Precision Screw in Grand Prairie for 20 years before leaving due to health issues.  He was the best father and PawPaw.  He loved his grandchildren more than anything and called them all “baby.”  More than anything, they loved to hear all the scary stories he would tell.  Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, and buying scratch-off lotto tickets.  He was a kind- hearted man and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his ex-wife and caregiver Barbara Cleveland; children Gary Crawford and wife Margo, Barbie Gantt and husband James, Robert Crawford and wife Nancy, and Chris Crawford; brothers Joseph Crawford and wife Wanda, Wesley Crawford and wife Cathy; sister Jearldine Smith; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Terri Seitz; granddaughter Lacy Seitz; brother Clarence Crawford; and sisters Pauline Sadberry and Imogene Peters.
