Frank William Sizemore

August 28, 1952 — January 10, 2018

On the evening of January 10, 2018, Pastor Frank William Sizemore Sr. of Trinidad, Texas joined his Lord and Savior surrounded in love by family members near and far.  He was 65 years old.

Frank Sr. was born August 28, 1952 in Chickamauga, Georgia, beloved son in a family of 10 children in the home of Reverend Walter Allen & Ruby Lee McGill Sizemore.

Early in Frank's life, his family relocated to Dallas, TX.  He enjoyed running on the track team and graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in 1970. He enjoyed fishing, playing softball, rooting on his Dallas Cowboys, and reading his bible.  Most of all, Frank cherished every opportunity to spend time with his beloved family, friends and extended church family.

Frank Sizemore Sr., a loving husband, was devoted to his wife Deborah "Debbie" Sizemore. The unconditional love they had for each other took them on a lifelong voyage serving the Lord.  Honoring his father's life mission, Frank Sr. followed God’s call to ministry and attended Criswell College seminary studies in Dallas, TX. His passion to better the world in the Lord's name culminated in a ministry journey that would span over 45 years. After Debbie passed to her great reward, he was overjoyed to find love again with his surviving wife, Lorraine "Sam"' Sizemore.

Frank Sizemore Sr., the pastor, built a wonderful ministry congregation serving Kemp, located close to the Dallas, TX area.  He loved preaching the word of Jesus Christ and teaching the Biblical principles found in the Scriptures that he so loved. His quotes, great sense of humor, and joyous compassion were noted by his church family. His personal and engaging style of delivering the Word of God each week gave him a variety of opportunities to proclaim the consistent gospel message of the Cross. Amazingly, he kept the outline of every single sermon he ever delivered.

Frank Sr., the father, was always supportive of his surviving children; Frank Sizemore Jr. & his wife Marilyn, Christopher Sizemore Sr., Misty Marinik & her husband Robert, Mike Brown, Kristi Brown, Tiffany Reeves & her husband Bobby. While having to share their dad with an extended family of nephews, nieces, and cousins, “Pop” was always available for wisdom, prayer, advice, love, support, and friendship. He was their confidant; their counselor; their cheerleader; and their pastor. They felt blessed to be his children.

Frank Sr., the grandfather, loved his grandchildren Jessica Sizemore and Christopher Sizemore Jr.  Frank Sr. was blessed to see his heritage continue to another generation with the birth of his great granddaughter, Raylee Sizemore. From pastoring them, to cradling them, to cheering for them, to just indulging them, he was involved in their lives always offering words of encouragement and adoration.

Frank Sr. is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Eugene Townsend and Walter Sizemore Jr.; and sisters Nancy Miller and Frances Soto.

Frank Sr. is survived by brothers Michael Sizemore & his wife Melissa and James Sizemore & his wife Sharon. He is survived by sisters Ruby Denbow & her husband Tommy, Dessie Sizemore, and Sharon Freeman & her husband Richard.
