Elmer Charles Belssner, age 78, of Mabank, Texas, passed away on March 16, 2026. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 2, 1947, to parents, Norman and Antoinette (Kubitz) Belssner.
Elmer grew up in Illinois and graduated from Norridge High School and attended The University of Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree. On August 24, 1968, Elmer married Linda Belssner and they have spent a loving 57 years together. Elmer worked as an executive for many companies through the years, most recently with Lowes as an executive account manager.
Elmer was a Master Gardener for 10 years, he and his wife enjoyed gardening together. He was also involved in the Avante Society which was a theatre group and Toast Master group. Elmer was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mabank. He loved his family the most and was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother.
Elmer is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Antoinette, and sister Nancy Belsnner.
Those left to cherish his memory are wife Linda, children: Scott Belssner and wife Johanna, Christine Robinson and husband Adam; granddaughter Claudia Robinson, siblings: Norman Belsnner and wife Rosemary, Louise Madsen and husband Dr. John, and Charles Belsnner; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
