Edward “Joe” Wayne Green, 81, passed away on March 27, 2022. He was born on July 13, 1940, in Cubbage, KY, to parents Birchel Green and Virgie Davis Green.
Joe was a machinist for many years. He later retired from Henderson County. Hobbies included camping, traveling in the RV, fishing, and playing cards. Joe was known to have a drink and a laugh with friends and family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Joe is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kenna Sue Green; children Donald Green and wife Tonya, Eddie Green, Donna Zenero and husband Tucker, Joeann King and husband Steve, James Stigall, Kelley Jones and husband David, and Laurie Stausing; grandchildren Justin, Elizabeth, Andrew, Lydia, Matthew, Joseph, Sarah, Jerimiah, Benjamin, Ryan, Gina, Jason, and Justina; sister Carolyn Evans; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Colleen Miracle; and brother J.B. Green.
