Douglas Athey

Douglas Lee Athey was born in Conroe, Texas September 21, 1929 to the home of Henry and Annie Athey and passed away December 20, 2008 in Athens. His children Frieda Alvarado and her husband Nicholas, Brenda Lutz, David Athey, Bruce Bond and his wife Brenda, brother Jeff Athey and his wife Joy, Dora Mae Miller the mother of his children, family friend Ruby Athey, 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren survive to cherish his memory. Paul was preceded in death by a daughter Tina Athey, a sister and 4 brothers. Services were Monday December 29, 2008 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
