David Louis Voyles

David Louis Voyles "Davey," 37, passed away on October 4, 2019.  He was born on August 28, 1982, in Athens, Texas, to the home of David and Karen Richards Voyles.

Davey had a carefree spirit, a big heart, and was very giving.  He loved being outdoors, hunting for arrowheads, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.   He also enjoyed playing video games, darts, horseshoes, and pool with his brothers.  Davey was a very hard worker.

He is survived by his father David Voyles and wife Carey; brothers Joseph Voyles and wife Kelly, Michael Basham and wife Kaddie, and Kyle Ellington; aunts Shirley House and husband Stanley, Vicky Denton and husband Steve, and Mary Hancock and husband Happy; as well as several cousins and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his mother Karen Richards Voyles; grandparents Louis and Patsy Voyles; cousins Michael Magrill and Bryan Holman.

Davey will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Reverend Dan Gurley of First United Methodist Church in Mabank, Texas, will officiate for the Voyles family.
