David spent much of his life in the Cedar Creek Lake area, calling it home for 37 years. He worked as a truck driver for 33 years, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. Before starting this career, David went to school to study diesel mechanics, showing his early interest in vehicles and how they work. David’s interests were many. He loved cars, music, Nascar, the Cowboys, rodeo, model cars, dirt track racing, traveling, and cruising. These hobbies brought him joy and connected him with friends and family throughout his life. David was a member of Revive Church (formally Restoration Church) of Eustace, Texas, and he was involved in Mission 313 which remained important to him over the years.

Some of David’s most cherished memories were the birth of his children and grandchild. He valued spending quality time with his wife, children, grandchild, extended family, and friends. These moments gave his life richness and meaning beyond all else.
