Danny O'Neil Blaser

Danny O’Neil Blaser, 82, passed away on September 3, 2019.  He was born on October 15, 1936, in Dallas, Texas to the home of Frank Trieve and Elsie Francis Blaser.

He retired from the US Postal Service in 1992 after 38 years of service.  During his tenure, he and his colleagues played on a bowling league together.  He loved watching sports on TV, specifically golf and the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.  When he wasn’t watching sports on TV, he spent leisure time riding on his tractor.

Danny was a Christian and loved his family dearly.  He made any sacrifice necessary to provide for the needs of his family.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jeannette; children Danny O’Neil Blaser, Jr. and wife Gina, Michael Lynn Blaser, Gregory Glenn Blaser, Kevin Shawn Blaser and wife Janie, and Gary Mark Blaser and wife Tabitha; brothers Marvin Richard Blaser and wife Bonita; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He also leaves behind his beloved Chihuahuas, Buster and Precious.  They were like children to him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a son Richard Dean Blaser; brothers Frank Trieve Blaser, Jr. and Larry Wayne Blaser; sisters Betty Jean Blaser and Barbara Ann Dolores Blaser.

Danny will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
